For the last 4 days of the Christmas crafts series, I will be sharing all ornament ideas! Today’s ornament is an adorable way to show your state pride or even make for friends or family!
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
POPSICLE STICKS | PAINT | PAINTBRUSH | STATE STENCIL | SCRAPBOOK OR CONSTRUCTION PAPER | TWINE | SCISSORS | PENCIL | HOT GLUE GUN
HOW TO
- Cut the ends off of several popsicle sticks. Make sure each piece is the same in length.
- Arrange the sticks to make a square shape.
- Hot glue two sticks onto the back to hold everything together.
- Paint the wood sticks.
- Use a stencil to cut the state shapes out of scrapbook paper.
- Layer as many pieces of paper as you’d like!
- Once the paint is dry, hot glue the paper onto the wood sticks.
- Add a border by hot gluing additional sticks along the sides.
- Cut a short piece of twine to create your hanger.
- Add a small dab of hot glue to secure.
- Hang that baby on the tree!
