Finding new art for the picture frames in your home can be expensive and tedious. With this easy DIY, you can update your decor quickly and for as little as $2!
The secret? Gift bags! There are so many beautiful gift bags these days, they deserve to be displayed. And just think of how fun it would be to change these out with the seasons too!
How to:
- Pick out the frames you want to fill and write down the measurements so you know what size bags to look for.
- Head to Home Goods, TJMaxx or Marshalls. These stores all have a great selection of gift bags for only a few dollars!
- Sort through all the bags until you find the ones you love. Keep in mind most bags have ribbon handles, which means there will be holes near the top of the bag. You’ll want to cut below those holes before adding to your frame.
- Once you’re home, starting cutting those bags up!
- Place the bag in your frame and decorate! Save the scraps for smaller frames, scrapbooking or other projects!
