Spooky with a side of coquette? Count me in!
Bows are everywhere and I don’t want it to stop anytime soon, so I had to create these cute mossy skulls to add to my home for Halloween. And the best part? The skulls are from the dollar store, making this a super affordable weekend craft!
Supplies
SKULLS | MOSS | BUTTERFLIES | RIBBON | HOT GLUE
How to
Step 1 | Before you begin gluing anything down, take out a handful of moss and pull apart any larger clumps you find.
Step 2 | Working with smaller pieces, hot glue the moss all over the skulls. Play around until you have covered the skull to your liking. Have fun with it!
Step 3 | Using a skinny black ribbon, make a small bow and attach it to the middle of a butterfly. Add the butterflies to the skull, covering any large gaps in the moss.
*Tip: If you can’t find any black butterflies, grab some plain ones from the floral section of the craft store and just paint them!
Step 4 | Fill in any last pieces of moss needed and you’re all done!
Mossy bow skulls are now my new favorite Halloween decor! There are so many fun ways to make these, I’d love to see how yours turn out! Tag me in your creations over on insta!
