At the end of the holiday season last year, I found this gorgeous plaid tablecloth for only $8 — such a score! I planned on using it for this season’s table setting, but recently realized that it was far too big for my table.
Initially, I thought I would just hem the tablecloth to fix my problem, but I started thinking about different ways I could use the fabric. I loved the pattern and colors, on top of the fabric being a great quality, so I decided to create a few new pieces to add to my Christmas decor collection.
I ended up making a new set of stockings for our family, a tree skirt and of course, a table runner for all of our holiday meals!
Reusing a tablecloth is a great way to add a unique look to your home without spending a ton! Below you can see how my DIYs turned out and read the tutorial by clicking on the photos!
