For 12 days, I will share a short DIY tutorial with you that you can fully customize to your style and hopefully even use materials you already have at home!
Day 4 of our 12 Days of Christmas crafts series ties right in with our boho stockings from yesterday! Spice up your stockings with these fun tags!
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
YARN | BELLS | CARDBOARD | SCISSORS | HOT GLUE GUN | PENCIL | HOLE PUNCHER
HOW TO
- Trace your initials onto a piece of cardboard and cut them out.
- Use a hole puncher to make an opening at the top of your letter.
- Tie a piece of yarn through the hole, which you will use later on to hang the initial from.
- Start wrapping your yarn around the letter, using small dabs of hot glue as you go. To make the letter thick, I wrapped it twice!
- Repeat this step if your are changing colors.
- Secure the loose ends with hot glue on the back side of the letter.
- To add even more holiday decoration, make a tassel out of the matching yarn and tie in some bells, too!
- Tie your new tags onto your stockings and you’re ready for Christmas day!
